Boston, MA

March 17-21, 2011

My Husband and I had decided that we needed a vacation. We both took 5 days off work and decided Boston would be fun since neither of us had been. I arranged this trip by myself, as he was out of town a lot. I researched until I couldn't stand it anymore but it all paid off in the end. I found a flight, round trip, for only $318 total for both of us, a four star, $400/night hotel for only $154/night! This is a fabulous city, very clean with a ton of sights to see. The people are truly amazing. I would move there tomorrow if my Husband was not in the Navy and tied to a duty station. Go if you get the chance. You won't be let down.

Tips? WEAR SNEAKERS!!!!! Everything is within walking distance, but good shoes are a must.
If you travel with a baby, prepare to actually carry the stroller up/down stairs often, as a lot of things are not handicap/stroller accessible.

There are a ton of phenomenal restaurants, Giacomo's and Zen were our top two, but check out Yelp.com for the good ratings.
